Apply to be a Counselor

Counselors will have their camp costs covered (which is a $800 value) and will be paid a stipend of $250 for the weekend to appreciate and acknowledge your contribution to camp. 

Camp Counselors will be responsible for facilitating a Camp Crew of 10-12 women for the weekend, which includes intentional check-ins throughout camp. You will be the go to person for your camp crew participants if they need anything, and you will have the opportunity to create a safe and sacred space for all to feel like they belong. We invite you to bring your own blend of magic to the table and share your innate awesomeness with campers. 

In addition to facilitating camp crews, we are inviting Camp Counselors to also lead a Playshop. A playshop is an interactive experience that campers have options to choose from throughout the weekend. They can be about creative expression, personal exploration, a physical activity, or something in-between. We invite you to consider sharing your magic in this way during camp. Camp Counselors are at the core of what makes camp awesome, and we are so honored that you are choosing to apply. Even if you don't get selected as a counselor, you will be considered for being a playshop leader, if you are open to that. 

If you are accepted as a Camp Counselor for Camp Yes you become a part of the Camp Yes Leadership Team and you will be expected to share and promote Camp Yes to your own communities and inspire them to attend to get to spend time with you in person. We are counting on our Leadership Team to help us spread the word and reach an even bigger audience of amazing women!

Camp Yes is August 23-26 2018 in Portland, OR. We ask all counselors to arrive the day before on Wednesday Aug. 22nd for camp set-up and camp orientation and stay to clean up on Sunday August 26th until 5pm. We will have a PARTY that afternoon/evening to celebrate and acknowledge your amazing contribution for the weekend!

Apply to be a Playshop Leader

Playshop leaders can attend Camp Yes for free and are asked to contribute $100-200 to help cover costs if they're able. 

We're so excited you're interested in leading a Playshop at Camp Yes! A Playshop is an interactive experience that campers will get to choose from during their time at camp. Most Playshops will be 90 minutes long. If you need more time, please specify that. Many playshops will be offered more than once to allow people to attend your session without FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). Playshops can be about creative expression, personal exploration, physical activity or something in between. This is an opportunity to share your blend of magic with the Camp Yes Community.

Please fill out this form by May 1st so we can review the Playshops. We will decide by May 15th which Playshops will be selected for camp. The expectations for Playshop leaders is that your activity is interactive, an you will attend Camp for the entire weekend. 

We also request that Playshop leaders arrive on Thursday August 23rd for camp set-up and camp orientation.
